Our proper species name is the “Tyrannosaurus Rex”.

Fun Facts

Did you know the strong and large jaw bones of a Camarasaurus were a distinct identifying feature of the group and were visible as a slight bump over their head?

Did you know Camarasaurus were herbivores? They fed on dominant flora of the Jurassic Period such as ferns and gymnosperm trees. Just like other sauropods, they could easily feed on high coniferous trees. Our teeth are long and spoon-shaped which made it ideal to eat the foliage. We gluttonously ate throughout the day. Such a large amount of plant matter was stored in our large stomachs until it was digested with the help of the gastroliths.
